Understanding Insurance Billing Costs
When Insurance Covers:
If the patient's insurance covers the vaccine and Vaxcess successfully bills through our Rume Medical Group contracts, there is no cost to your practice. Vaxcess retains the administration fee when paid by insurance.
When Insurance Doesn't Cover:
If insurance denies the claim or the patient is out-of-network, your practice is billed at our standard cash rate. You may then collect payment from the patient according to your practice policies.
Pre-authorization: Optional coverage verification available (takes 1-2 business days). You may choose to administer before receiving authorization response.
